Ancoria Bank Ltd is a recently established Cypriot bank, licensed, registered, and supervised by the Central Bank of Cyprus. The bank's history began with Sievert Larsson, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ancoria Bank, a businessman, and philanthropist. Sievert has been an innovator in Cyprus since 1987 when he founded Ancoria Insurance, formerly known as Akelius Insurance, serving the markets of Sweden and Cyprus by offering savings and investment products under a life policy. Sievert's vision for a new type of bank led to the creation of Ancoria Bank, a bank that prioritizes customers and ensures assistance, clarity, and efficiency. Sievert is one of the three principal shareholders, along with Ancoria Insurance and The Sievert Larsson Scholarship Foundation.
