About CREDIT AGRICOLE CORPORATE & INVESTMENT BANK
Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CACIB) is the corporate and investment banking arm of Credit Agricole Group, operating as a subsidiary of Credit Agricole S.A., with headquarters in Montrouge, France. The bank serves corporate, institutional and public-sector clients through a network spanning Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Its activities cover debt and equity capital markets origination and syndication; fixed income, credit, foreign exchange and commodities sales and trading; securitization; structured, acquisition, project and asset finance across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, transportation and real estate; trade and export finance; cash management and supply chain finance; and advisory services including M&A and ratings advisory. It is active in sustainable finance through the structuring and placement of green, social and sustainability-linked instruments aligned with market frameworks. CACIB was established in 2010 via the rebranding of Calyon, which itself was formed in 2004 from the corporate and investment banking businesses of Credit Agricole Indosuez and Credit Lyonnais. The institution operates under European banking supervision (ECB/Single Supervisory Mechanism and France’s ACPR) and applicable market regulations such as MiFID II and EMIR, with activities outside the EU conducted through locally licensed entities. Risk, capital and liquidity are managed within group policies, with disclosures provided in Pillar 3 reports and the consolidated financial statements of Credit Agricole S.A. The bank maintains investment-grade ratings from major agencies and funds itself through client deposits and diversified wholesale issuance. Onboarding and access to products are subject to KYC/AML checks, eligibility criteria, documentation standards (for example ISDA/CSA, GMRA and LMA-based loan agreements) and jurisdictional requirements, and pricing reflects market conditions, client credit profile and transaction structure.
