About LKU grupė

LKU grupė (LCKU) is a credit cooperative group in Lithuania established based on credit unions. The history of credit unions in Lithuania dates back to 1871, and in the last decade of the 20th century, support from international credit union organizations led to the revival and active development of credit unions in the country. The products and services offered by the LKU group include a variety of banking services such as loans, savings accounts, financial counseling, and other financial products tailored to the diverse needs of its members, provided through its constituent credit unions. LCKU actively monitors the financial stability of its members, ensures their solvency, and oversees and assesses the risks associated with their financial activities. Additionally, the group collaborates with various partners, including government agencies and financial institutions, participating in initiatives that contribute to the financial well-being of its members and the community. The group comprises 45 credit unions, forming an extensive service network with over 100 service points throughout Lithuania. LCKU monitors the financial stability of its members, ensures their solvency, and oversees and assesses the risks they undertake. The group actively collaborates with various partners, including government agencies and financial institutions, participating in various program and project initiatives.
