About International Card Services B.V.
International Card Services B.V. (ICS) is a leading Dutch credit card issuer, holding the predominant position in issuing Visa credit cards within the Netherlands. ICS is also a provider of MasterCard. It issues credit cards both directly to consumers and in collaboration with external partners, such as the ANWB Visa card and the Bijenkorf MasterCard. As a subsidiary of ABN AMRO, ICS has indirect ownership ties to the Dutch government. Its origins stem from the Dutch operations of Bank of America, later transitioning through various entities, including the VSB Groep and Fortis Bank Nederland, before becoming part of ABN Amro Bank.
