Rabobank is a Dutch cooperative banking group headquartered in Utrecht that operates retail banking mainly in the Netherlands and wholesale, rural, and food-and-agri banking internationally. The organization has a cooperative structure without listed equity; it raises core capital in part through perpetual Rabobank Certificates, which trade on Euronext Amsterdam and pay discretionary distributions subject to regulatory constraints. Since a 2016 restructuring it functions as a single cooperative with local branches, offering current accounts, savings and term deposits, mortgages, consumer credit, SME and corporate lending, trade and commodity finance, transaction banking, investments, and cash management.
